51. Perfect Fit!

    I bought a used office chair and it sat a little lower than I realized when I got it home. The instructions on the site on how to measure everything were very helpful. My chair ended up being "standard" so swapping out out the part was super easy. Plus it's worth it to just get the whole cylinder instead of trying to replace a few parts. I opted for the 5 inches of travel and I'm glad I did. The 3.5 inches would probably still have been too low. The one thing I recommend is to make sure you can get the old lift cylinder out of your chair first! Mine was really jammed in there and took a big pipe wrench to get enough leverage to break it loose.

    Got my son an office chair - chair was not even 6 months old and the lift cylinder broke - company I purchased chair from would not warranty the cylinder - got this cylinder - fits properly and works great

    They saved my chair from being tossed out....Great customer service- responded to my email with the part I needed and options. Big help- was able to save my chair that was otherwise in great shape. Easy DIY and for a fraction of the cost of a new chair!
