    I've never modified or even assembled a chair myself before, but this worked wonderfully! And the assistance I got was wonderful, someone named Pete talked to me about my needs and helped me make a decision that would work best for me. As a programmer working from home, I need a chair that's as ergonomic as possible, and I'm extremely happy both with this cylinder.

    I had a chair that needed this lift. There was no manufacturer so no way to find out what cylinder I needed. Pete in customer service figured it out. Perfect fit and chair is back in operation

17. Got the extra lift

    My office/bar desk is higher than standard desk height. I swapped out the gas cylinder with this with more travel. It was easy to do and fixed the problem.

    Had no idea what parts would fit and needed gas lift cylinder and tilt mechanism. They took the time to figure what specific parts I needed to order. Fast delivery and everything fit perfectly. Saved a lot of money and have my favorite chair back! Just call them for help.

20. Lift is good, Repair was difficult

    The lift works great. I would recommend it. The repair was a beast! I could not get the lift tube out of the chair plate. I had a 24 inch pipe wrench and a torch, and it would not budge. I had to disassemble the chair plate assy and drive the cylinder out with a sledge hammer.
    
    My suggestion: Verify you can remove the old assy BEFORE ordering. : )
