1. Replacement gas lift cylinder

   The product arrive very quickly. After some investigating, I figured out how to remove the lift from the outer cylinder as I needed to put the new parts in my original cylinder on my chair. When I finally got the old cylinder off, my chair attaching, the new one was very easy and straightforward. I would buy from this company again in the future if I needed another gas lift. The customer service is very good with this chair part company.

   I'm so glad I found chairpartsonline! The central cylinder of our office chair was dragging on the floor, ruining the floor and making the chair difficult to move. Their instructions and parts allowed me to salvage a chair that cost over $1000 with a $39 part. The chair avoided the landfill and it works like new. And BTW, the chair is 20yrs old. Maybe we ll get another 20 yrs out of it!

   I worked with Peter by email and by phone. He is very knowledgeable and was very helpful helping me find the right gas lift cylinder for my office chair. With the help of a few video tutorials, I was able to replace the cylinder myself, saving my favorite chair.

   The new Gas Lift Cylinder (S6106) that you sent me works great but the chair height is 1/2" short of the original one. Minor inconvenience we will have to live with.
