    Perfect fit and better quality than stock. Stock only lasted about 6mo. This one feels and operates so much better.

    shipped reasonably fast during holidays. Easy to replace with hammer and mid size pipe wrench. Chair is back to working like new.

    Fast delivery. The well organized web site made it easy to find the right gas cylinder replacement. Nice, solid part. The only thing wrong with my chair was the weak gas cylinder. So great not to have to replace the chair.

    I recently installed my new HD 4.25" gas lift cylinders in my 10 yr old Office Depot chairs and the chairs feel good as new. They actually adjust a little higher than the OEM cylinders and their height no longer "self-adjusts" when I'm in the chair. I replaced each cylinder in under about a minute per chair after watching a couple of YouTube videos for tips. Very pleased!

17. Better than the original

    Although I am 6' tall, the maximum height of the chair with the ORIGINAL cylinder brought my feet off the floor. With this replacement, the maximum height when raised is about an inch lower.
    
    I do have to say that even after watching many videos on how to remove the old cylinder, it was much harder to do than they showed. The real trick was to let WD-40 permeate the touch points. Essential

    Went with the heavy duty with the idea it may last longer. Only have had product installed a few days, but I can already tell it is better than the original.

    I was unsure of the part I needed to repair my chair, and Leslie did a fine job of walking me through the process of removing the cylinder, then measuring to ensure I was getting the right replacement part. Very pleased with the service.
