11. Perfect fit -- great service too

    An exact fit for my Leap chair (made in 2001). I'm glad I went with this part instead of one of the "universal" ones, since the Leap cylinder is rather a unique shape. Removing the old cylinder was indeed a pain, but once I procured an 18" pipe wrench and with some WD-40, it came right out. Customer service was a big help with a last-minute problem (I needed to tweak an adjustment screw under the seat).

    Had been cleaning up after leaking pistons for a few months now and finally bit the bullet & bought a more expensive piston marketed explicitly for this chair (rather than “universal fit” pistons). Works flawless. Super easy install, sturdy, perfect amount of lift, no adjustment of the set screw for the actuator needed.

    Cylinder fit perfectly in my Steelcase Leap chair. Shipping was fast and phone support was great. Total cost was a fraction of the Steelcase dealer price. Removal of the old cylinder was a bear; but the video on the chairpartsonline website was a lifesaver. The guy at customer service told me how to get there and it made my day.Great experience. I won't go anywhere else
