Wasn't sure which part to get. Took picture of an old tag on the chair and emailed it over to customer service. Not only did they identify the correct part, but also supplied links to videos to watch the actual installation, and offered tips that differed from the videos suggestions.
Great company, great service, the right part.

I needed a replacement cylinder for my SteelCase chair (from the 1990's). I had no paperwork or labels to help determine chair model. Peter Holmquist (of ChairPartsOnline) was very helpful. He was able to determine which cylinder I needed based on a picture of the chair. The old cylinder was from a company that no longer deals with chair cylinders. Based on Pete's recommendation, I ordered the cylinder on 3/30/22, received cylinder 4/1/22, and installed it 4/3/22. Cylinder operates flawlessly. Pete's customer service is exceptional!

I recently worked with Peter Holmquist (of ChairPartsOnline) to determine the cylinder needed for my SteelCase chair from the 1990's. I had no paperwork with the chair nor labels on chair to determine chair model or cylinder needed. When I removed worn out cylinder, the stamping on it was Idealift SUSPA. Found out, via reaching out to them, they had left chair cylinder business 13 years ago. Pete Holmquist was able to determine model of chair and what cylinder I needed based on a picture of my SteelCase chair. I ordered the cylinder on 3/30/22, received shipment on 4/1/22, and installed cylinder on 4/3/22. Cylinder works great.
