    I have tried to buy a reasonable priced chairs that are short enough to no avail. I finally figured out that the world makes shorter cylinders for chairs and hunted up this one. The reviews seemed good. I am 5'2 220. This really helped so I didn't need silly stools or props. Thank you.

    I purchased a big and tall model chair and realized it was too tall. This smaller cylinder saved the day. Easy installation.

    I bought this product because I just couldn't remove the old cylinder from the busted base of my chair. I couldn't find a cylinder as short as the one that came in my chair anywhere else, and I really needed it to be short. This one is perfect. It's overall length was about an inch shorter than the old one, but the stem wasn't as long. The end result is that my chair is pretty much the same height as it was before. This perfect. I paid $29.99 for the cylinder, and that's a pretty good price. The shipping was fast and I didn't have to wait long for it. So far it's also performing better than my old cylinder. I would recommend this for anyone that's shorter than 6 feet tall.

    The support was great and it worked perfectly. I purchased 2 other items from careful measurements online from other company and both of them had something different causing it not to work correctly. I called this company ,they picked up the phone and helped me get the correct part. It was mailed out that day no charge for shipping and it fixed a very expensive chair. Thank you chairpartsonline. 16. Car Seat Office Chair

    I'm building an office chair from a car seat. Because of the thickness of the car seat, the lift that came with the base I bought made the seat too high. The low height of this cylinder made it better.

    It is unimaginable that this products is not more widely available. It took an extended search to find it. Short people work in offices too ! It is absurdly simple to install. This product has been a godsend.

    Forget Amazon. If you've got an old chair with a worn out SHORT cylinder, this is what you've been looking for. Chair now works like new. And my feet reach the floor! ☺

    I bought a Lazy boy office chair. It was the last one at Sam's club. I got it put together only to discover it was a big and tall model. The extra short lift cylinder was the ticket!
