1. Fits chair and works!

   I just installed this new gas cylinder last night. I bought it to adjust the height range for my HON office chair and it does just what I need - it lowered the height of the chair so my wife can get her feet on the floor and I can adjust it to the height I need as well.

   Perfect for the job! I needed a shorter gas lift to drop my chair a few inches - this fit the bill perfectly! Well made & works like a charm!

   I've been strugging for years to find an office chair that I could use with out to foot stool. Thanks to Pete who told me how to measure my chair, and gave me great details about what part I would need to make my chair shorter. Just got my chair put together today and its prefect!    I have a nice Lazy Boy chair that the cylinder wouldn't hold up the chair. I had all the measurements but Chairpartsonline.com was the only place that had the exact replacement

7. Worked in my Secretlab Titan XL

   The Secretlab Titan XL is a pretty good chair, however the minimum height was slightly too tall for comfort. Thankfully this fit in perfectly and dropped the height by a few inches, making the chair perfect for me. Shipping was fast and their support documents were useful in removing the old cylinder. Highly recommend!

   Big and tall chair user here. Bough a Torval Big and Tall chair from office depot and was worried about it fitting under my keyboard tray on my desk. After installing this cylinder it fits perfectly and I get to use the chair I want.

   I have an RFM chair from 2008, when they were known as Reimers, and it had an extra short cylinder that started leaking about 4 years ago. Thanks to the great service at Chair Parts Online, I was confident enough to buy this cylinder, and it's a perfect replacement. Bonus tip: they have a couple videos on removal of old cylinders, definitely worth watching; I needed the WD-40/pipe wrench combination.

10. Perfect height

    I am 5'2" and all the chairs that claimed they were for short people lied. So I decided to find out if I can change my current chair. This site was very helpful figuring out what I needed. and I am thrilled by the perfect height of my chair now. I don't need to have a stool that slides away or have to use an overly expensive chair. I might need a different desk but that is not surprising now that my chair fits me.
