Comparing Equa 1 and Equa 2
There are some distinct differences in the mechanisms and gas cylinders of the Equa chairs that can help determine which chair you have.
If the cylinder has already been removed, check out the top part of it. The Equa 1 has a small metal protruding button, and the Equa 2 is a flush button - compare with the graphic below. If the cylinder has not been removed, looking at the mechanism is an easy way to tell, too. The Equa 1 has a visible slot on the front for the key that holds the cylinder in place.
