21. Changes are not always for the better.

    These screw lift cylinders use to be the standard until the "new" gas lift cylinders came out. BUT!! They don't last long! My "new" home office chair with the "new" gas lift went 2 years! Chair still new, cylinder-garbage. Same for my work chair. It maybe went 5 years, not sure, then down 3-4 inches by the end of each day. Put in these screw lifts in literally 10 minutes. Find the perfect setting & it will still be at the perfect setting next year! If you do want a change, you do have to get under the chair & adjust it instead of reaching to the side, BUT!!! Worth every minute. Unless you want to buy & change out your gas lifts every couple of years. You can, but I would not recommend it!

22. Perfect replacement for Gas Piston Model

    I have a wonderful Serta Air Big & Tall Desk Chair.
    The gas piston was an issue and the chair would drop after a while. This screw piston ensures I will NEVER face that issue again. Perfect fit.
    
    I HIGHLY recommend this product. In my opinion, this is the type of spindle that should be on EVERY chair --IF-- is a personal chair that isn't going to be used by many people. Once you set the desired height, you NEVER need to worry about a "bad gas piston" ever again!
