This premium chrome chair base kit includes one each of the following:  set of 5 chrome hard floor casters, 28" wide aluminum chair base, chrome 5" travel gas lift, & standard tilt mechanism.  The parts ship unassembled and assemble easily to create a great looking replacement chrome base set-up for many office chairs.  Great for use as a replacement for the standard generic black chair base kit or in new applications.  Be sure that you check the dimensions of the existing tilt mechanism mounting holes on the bottom of your seat to ensure that they match up to the 6"wide x 10.2" long (front to back) mounting hole pattern of the tilt mechanism that comes with this kit.  If they do not match, this kit will not mount to your existing seat.

Also available in black: powder-coated aluminum chair base, black gas cylinder and black casters. 

The overall dimensions of this kit are:

Width of base = 28"

15 1/2" = Overall height from floor to top of mechanism plate with gas lift fully compressed

20 1/2" = Overall height from floor to top of mechanism plate with gas lift fully extended

 Tilt Mechanism Details

- Selecting the "Reduce Height" swaps the current CRGC-5 cylinder with S6217-A. This reduces the minimum height by 2.6" and the maximum height by 5".
